Special classes by Counsellor Eiji Tanimura of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (from Miyazaki City), held at Miyazaki Daiichi Junior High School and Miyazaki Municipal Kiyotake Elementary School

Counsellor Eiji Tanimura of the Export and International Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, who is from Miyazaki City, was invited to hold a special class for local elementary and junior high school students to deepen their understanding of the G7 Agriculture Ministers’ Meeting in Miyazaki, and to encourage them to develop a rich international outlook.
Mr. Tanimura gave a talk titled “Background, to the young people of my hometown,” in which he spoke not only about the purpose and significance of the G7 Agriculture Ministers’ Meeting in Miyazaki, but also on his own reasons for taking up his current occupation and his message to the children who will be the leaders of the next generation.
