We held a "G7 on-site lecture" and "Summit lunch" at Komatsudai Elementary School in Miyazaki City.

Just before the G7 Miyazaki Agriculture Ministers' Meeting was held, on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Komatsudai Elementary School in Miyazaki City, for the purpose of promoting the meeting and deepening international understanding.

We carried out G7 visiting lecture (international understanding class, mayor's lecture) and summit lunch.

　In the G7 visiting lecture, Ms. Antonia Schult (from Germany), a coordinator for international relations in Kobayashi City, gave an international understanding class on the theme of German food culture and agriculture.

In addition, Miyazaki Mayor Kiyoyama gave a lecture on the theme of health and food, and talked about Dr. Kanehiro Takagi, who is from Miyazaki City, and the G7 meeting.

They said that they would like their families to use the meeting as an opportunity to think about food and agriculture.

　After that, at the summit school lunch, German dishes such as Eintopf (German-style vegetable soup) and Frikadelle (German-style hamburger) were served.

Mayor Kiyoyama and Antonia Schult had dinner with the children.
