Summery of the 2002 Annual Report according to the National Epidemiological Surveillance of Infectious Diseases in Miyazaki Prefecture.

Abstract
One case of the category�Uinfectious diseases, 39 cases of the category�Vinfectious diseases, 96 cases of the category�W notifiable infectious diseases and 58,736 of the category�W infectious diseases were notified to the National Epidemiological Surveillance of Infectious Diseases from Miyazaki Prefecture in 2002. The category�Tinfectious diseases were not notified,

In the category�Uinfectious diseases, one case of shigellosis was notified. This case of shigellosis patient was notified from Miyazaki County. This case was reported as domestic infection and infection resource was indistinct.

Thirty nine cases of enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli, the category�Vinfectious diseases, were notified and increased by 43 from the preceding year . These cases formed first peak during May, and second peak during August and September of 2002.

In the category�W notifiable infectious diseases, 39 cases of Legionellosis were notified. Of 39 cases, 36 were notified from outbreak in July at a spa resort with circulating bath water as the source of infection in Hyuga.

はじめに
当所では、1999年から地方感染症情報センターとして感染症発生動向調査情報の収集解析と提供を実施している。解析したデータを基にグラフやコメントを作成し、週報や月報で提供しており、感染症の流行拡大防止や公衆衛生の向上に寄与している。

また、1999年に施行された「感染症法」では、積極的疫学調査がより重要視されており¹⁾、感染症発生動向調査情報はそのための基本的な情報となっている。

今回、1〜4類感染症について²⁾、宮崎県における2002年の患者発生状況をまとめたので報告する。
